FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What counts as a premium solve?

Each call to a premium component's solve() method counts as one solve — whether it runs in a steady-state sweep, a transient loop, or a one-off call.

Can I switch plans at any time?

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.

Is the library open-source?

Yes. The core hardwave library and its stdlib are MIT-licensed on GitHub. Only the cloud features and premium components require a subscription.

How does the private key work?

When you create an organisation, we generate an RSA-2048 key pair. Your public key is stored server-side. Your private key is shown once — it's never stored by us. Every premium API request is signed with your private key and verified with the public key.

What happens if I exceed my monthly solves?

On the Builder plan, additional premium solve calls will fail with a quota error. Upgrade to Team for unlimited solves, or contact us for a custom limit.
